Strength & Balance Course for Ladies

Well-being is really important to us at St Mary’s Church.
It is known that once women start to go through the menopause the changes in their body can impact their quality of life; which includes a decrease in core strength and can result in day-to-day difficulties with balance.
This 6 week course will focus on the well-being of ladies aged 45 and above. You must be able to attend at least 5 of the sessions to get the benefits from the course.
Robin Gandy – member of St Mary’s Church and qualified fitness instructor – has put together a 6 week program that will focus on both strength and balance. This program will include short exercises that can be adapted to various levels, guided encouragement for you do similar exercises in your home environment and will give you the opportunity to set yourself small/medium goals throughout the six weeks.
This course will also give you the opportunity to ask questions and will help you grow in confidence in your own abilities, providing you with skills to excercise independently at home once the course has finished.
The cost of this course will be £32.00 which will cover all 6 sessions. Fully instructed, use of all equipment during the session and take home advice.
Paperwork will be sent to you after you have registered. This MUST be completed before the start of the first session on Tuesday 8th July.
