Worship & Prayer

Worship

Worship is a core part of our church life and ministries, as well as our services. We believe that God is our Creator and that He sent His Son to Earth to save us through His death on the cross. We also believe that when Jesus ascended to heaven, God sent the Holy Spirit to guide us in following and having a relationship with God. To understand more about what we believe to be true of God, have a read here.

All these things lead us to the knowledge that God is powerful, gracious, loving, and merciful. This is why, in our services, we sing songs that speak of His greatness, acknowledge His sovereignty, and thank Him for what He’s done in our lives. We also praise God for who He is and what He’s done through creative expressions in our services.

Prayer

Prayer is an important part of our individual personal lives, and of our church life.

  • Before each Sunday morning service, we have a prayer meeting in the upstairs room of the church building.
  • During many of our Sunday morning services, we have a Prayer Team available who would love to pray with or for anyone who would like that.
  • Every Monday and Friday morning, at 8:30am, we have live prayers online, open to all who would like to begin and end their week with 15 minutes of prayer together. Please visit our Facebook page to join these times (you don’t need a Facebook account to watch these live prayers).
  • Prayer is a large part of our monthly Sunday Evening Services; praying together for our church, city, and world, and praying for each other.
